NCM is situated on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people. We pay respects to them, especially their Elders and storytellers, as well as all First Peoples, nationwide. NCM acknowledges that communication technologies have a long history here, far longer than European occupation.

When will NCM be open to visitors?

NCM opens on Saturday 21 September 2024.

When can I book my visit to NCM?

The NCM bookings portal will be live at the beginning of September. Sign up to our newsletter to receive a notification when this happens!

Can I make a group booking to visit NCM?

Yes! Once the NCM bookings portal is live, you will be able to make bookings for individuals and groups. Sign up to our newsletter to hear when bookings open.

Will there be children’s programs?

Yes! The NCM has a Kids Hub and an extensive schools and education program for primary and secondary students. School holiday programs will open later this year.

Can I donate to the NCM collection?

Donations are paused until opening.

Will NCM be accessible?

The museum building and displays have been designed with care to ensure NCM will be accessible to everyone. Smart architectural design coupled with audio loops, inclusive technology, Auslan interpretation, captions, and a wheelchair lift are among some of the things that make our museum inclusive. If you would like any assistance entering the museum or need more information, please do not hesitate to get in touch through hello@ncm.org.au.

Are there any volunteering or employment opportunities available?

Yes! Registrations are currently open for our volunteer program. Register before 23 August 2024 to be considered for first next intake. Job opportunities will be listed on ArtsHub and AMaGA.
